Dream A Little Dream...

I've been thinking a lot over the last few weeks. Looking back at how quickly time has passed.

I remembered when I was younger and someone asked me about dreams and what I wanted to be when I grew up.

Honestly, I wanted to be a music superstar. Yeah I know. Doesn't everyone?
I always had a passion for music and words. I never knew about being a published author even though I always loved to write.

As a kid I always dreamed big...I knew one thing I wanted to change the world with my words.

We all dream as children and want to be something, but as we get older dreams change. Sometimes we even stop dreaming. We never have to stop.

We must dream a little dream..Dreams are what push us to take certain journeys and steps in life to get to where we want to go.

Without dreams there is something missing.

My dreams have changed especially the last few years. I now dream to be happy and to write. To be in love and to share my stories with all the beautiful people out there. I dream to one day travel the world and see the beauty that it holds.

So tell me, do you still have dreams of things you want?

Have you stopped dreaming?

stay naughty,
Savannah

  2. I dream of Paris 2013. I think our problem is, we dream but we don't write them down. I think if we write them down, then make goals in order to meet them we'd get things done....*sigh* I probably should take my own advice....

  3. Dreams are so important. I can't imagine living without dreams and wishes. My dreams have changed as I've grown older, but I've never stopped dreaming.

  4. I have always had big dreams an endless list of them, I suppose that comes from having a big imagination. :)
But I think dreams are a great thing to hold onto.

    1. Michel, nothing comes easy but the challenge of making it a reality is the journey we are given. Continue to dream and dream big.

  7. I love to write. I really do. I type fast and stories just seem to fall into my brain. I don't even think it's right to take credit for them almost, because the characters just live their lives in there and I watch and write. Such a voyeur...

I believe that, so long as someone's reading and visualizing their stories, they live on.

So my dream is that my characters live long lives, those who give them life by reading find great pleasure in it, and I am able to be home with my daughter.

The other part of my dream is to make enough money bringing other people pleasure and passing on the lives of these characters to continue to send my daughter to Montessori school.

I also wouldn't mind a few more luxuries in my life and plenty of money to pass on to others in ways that will enrich their lives.

May every character find an outlet, every reader a favorite book, and every author the satisfaction of a job well done and a comfortable income.

    1. Shannon, never stop dreaming and creating your characters. We authors dream worlds and far away lands, our words bring joy and heat to the world.

I know that one day all the hard work will pay off and our dreams will come true.

I truly wish that all of your dreams come true..

  9. Great post, Savannah. I still dream and figure one day they will come true. Some of my childhood dreams have changed but a couple of them are still the same. I've added a lot of new dreams though.

    1. Becky, thank you so much. Change can be good. As long as dreams are there and we continue to work towards them that is what matters. I think with age our dreams are bound to change but for the better.
