A F/F Confession

When Sadie walked into the room, there was nothing there but candles, on the floor.  They sent a beautiful glow against the walls leaving her relaxed yet strange disturbed by it.  Jenny had asked her to meet her there and she had no idea what was happening.  She thought Jenny was in trouble.  Taking a breath she walked over ot the window and peered out into the night.  The moon was high above the small town giving it an glow that rose her spirits and caused her to breathe more freely.

Sadie turned around. It wasn't because she heard a sound but she felt another presenece in the room with her.

"You came." Jenny's voice was soft.

She wore a light pink dress something that surprised Sadie for as long as she'd known Jenny, the pettite blond she'd never worn anything remotely girly.  Sadie saw how uncomfortable she was just by the way she walked into the room.

"Of course I came--why are are you wearing a dress?" Sadie asked.

"Do you like it?" Jenny looked down as if she had forgotten she was wearing.

Sadie turned fully but didn't move from where she was standing. "Yes. But you don't, do you?"

"It doesn't matter as long as you like it...I remember you always say you were looking for a woman who wouldn't walk over your heart."

Sadie nodded.

"And I know I can be that woman...."

"Jenny?"

"I know. Tou don't see me that way. But please...I've put a lot of work into this--pulled up a lot of courage to come to you like this but I..."

Sadie sighed and walked across the space between then. She wrapped an arm around the small of Jenny's back and pulled her forward.  When their bodies collided, Jenny gasped but Sadie slammed her lips over hers. Their lips fused together, bodies melted perfectly together and tongues flowed like water around each other.  A charge of electricity fluttered through Sadie, causig her to whimper and pulled impossibly closer to Jenny.  Her large breasts pressed into Jenny's smaller ones caused her to tingle beautifully.  Jenny cradled her face, holding her so tenderly Sadie fought back the tears threatening to spill down her cheeks.  She was lost in a moment with Jenny, a moment she never thought was possible. A fear of their relationship reverting to a pumpkin pulsated through her but she silenced it by kissing Jenny deeper, plunging her tongue in further.

Jenny smelt like flowers--something new on her to Sadie but she loved it still.

The line then was crossed between friendship and lover and Sadie knew it. She also knew from the way Jenny kissed her and curled her toes, that she couldn't turn back if she wanted to.

That “Kiss”

Yes! That’s the one! You know that one I’m talking about right? The one that you’ve been anticipating all day, the one that can speed up your heart by thinking about it, to the point that you catch yourself closing your eyes imagining what it’ll feel like. You know the one, right? It’s the one where it makes your insides all quivery and happy, goose-bump worthy, the one that makes you weak in the knees, makes breathing almost impossible through the pants, it’s the one that can bring a smile to your face no matter what’s going on around you.
Wait…that wasn’t even the kiss yet! Slow down.

We’re talking about what we expect when we want to connect with that special someone in a way that goes beyond a mere kiss on your cheek(s), and lets include a hug with that long awaited kiss. Feeling a warm body up close to yours, feeling that body as close as possible, (with clothes on that is.) The smell of the other person, how tightly yet gently they’ll hold you right before you kiss… OH! Wait. I’m getting ahead of myself.

Back on track. So, imagine all of that to this point. Will that magic kiss, the one you’ve waited perhaps weeks, months, years for from that one special person, be everything you’ve dreamt it will be?

Will it meet what you’ve been thinking about it all along? Is the anticipation waiting on that one true magic kiss better than the kiss itself?

Let’s find out shall we? You finally get to the point where it’s you and your selected other half. You’re standing there looking at one another, it’s as if all that you’re feeling is in yours eyes, like a magnetic field surrounds the two of you, your eyes almost feel fevered with the want of the taste of the other person, they’re sending signals, silently of course to the person’s eyes, heat builds, you focus from their eyes to their lips, all the thoughts you’ve been having of the special magic kiss come back and unknowingly you may lick your lips, you feel heated from the inside out, that same quivering feeling comes back your heart races, you look back into those eyes and silently you’re saying, “Kiss me, take my breath away.” Closer and closer you stand to one another, you aim in on those lips, just inches away from yours. A noise may escape from your throat, not on purpose but your whole body is now shaking with the need to taste that other person.

Closer, your lips are just a hairsbreadth away, your eyes darting with dark need from the persons eyes to lips, back and forth, breathing becomes harder, your lips feel dry so you lick them slowly and before you know it, the smell of the other person engulfs all of your senses, those lips finally, after waiting forever for them to meet yours, happens. At first the kiss is gentle, lips to lips, you want to remember every single moment of that first kiss, right? Those lips you’ve been day dreaming about, wondering if the kiss would be powerful, controlling, yet gentle and exciting, maybe soft, yet firm, passionate. Thick or thin lips, what does it matter? Your hands are then out of your control, they slip around the neck that belongs to the person who owns those lips, your body gets as close as never before, your arms tighten around that neck, and before you have a chance to think, you feel that tongue you’ve wondered about since meeting. Licking your lips, teeth gently nibble on your lower lip, a kiss again, then another lick. A moan then escapes your throat, your heart is pounding wildly away in your chest, your knees weaken, you lean into that body more and without support you know you’d crumble to your knees.

A hand reaches to the back of your neck, a gentle tug to the underside of your hair, forcing your head back at the same time the owner of those lips nibbles down a bit harder, you open your mouth to perhaps say ouch, yet before that word makes it out, you find yourself lost in the deliciousness of that amazing kiss.

It’s everything you imagined and more.

So, what type of kiss is your favorite? I just told you mine.

Till next week.

Hugs!!

Michele

When is Abuse in Stories too much...

One of the first romance stories I read had a story about this girl who was sexually molested as a child. Recently I began writing a story called Whiskey Lullaby, it's a second book in my sensual, inspirational route that  I seemed to be going in lately. The first was Broken Wings which I am SO proud of.  The heroine of these books were physically and emotionally abused as children and now they must either sink or swim in their adult lives.

But my question is when is too much is too much? Sure sexually assault or molestation happens in real life but my belief is people read our books to get away from the everyday, right? So why should they run from that disgusting event in real life and crash head first into it in a book? Perhaps I'm taking this whole "reading should be a fantasy" dealie too personally but I know if I was having a bad day, month, year, life I wouldn't want to be having the same thing in my fantasy world as well.

I believe sexual assault should not be taken lightly neither is molestation of a child. If the story had mentioned it without describing it in graphic, detail perhaps I would think differently. Well of course I would think differently. With my abuse in stories it was never sexual, but if you are going to write sexual abuse why describe it happening to a child? I know some people want the shock value but when is that shock too much for anyone?

Let me know what you think.

WHY ARE INTERRACIAL RELATIONSHIPS STILL CONTROVERSIAL?

CASSANDRE DAYNE

Isn’t that a good question? And does that matter in writing romance novels? Well, the truth is I’ve seen some continued concern but for the most part I do believe it’s embraced with all the passion of writing anything else. After all, who cares about the color of our heroes as long as they have some enduring qualities that remind us why we love to read romances in the first place. I’ve been asked on several occasions why I enjoy writing interracial romances and the truth is I think I’m color blind in all aspects of people including relationships. I don’t care if the men I crave are black, white or purple. Sensuality and desire come in many forms and in truth I love black men. I think they are sassy and sexy and…but then again I have a craving for American Indians and Puerto Ricans too so. Hey – I can’t help myself and it has nothing to do with being an erotic romance author. Is it because of my upbringing and the fact I was taught never to be prejudice?

In truth I think it’s a little bit of both. I enjoy all flavors, sizes and shapes of men. Let’s face it -- I simply love men! I also don’t mind sending a message that whether you’re involved with someone from another race or of the same sex, love is love and passion ignites from where your heart takes you. I personally hate discrimination and do everything that I can to educate others in my writing about equality. I’ve been very blessed to have written several interracial romances over the last year or so. Even my very first piece published was about my real life UPS man who happens to be chocolate laced in variety. He’s also simply a wonderful guy and fun to talk to.

I penned a piece that combines three of my enjoyments – interracial, same sex including a polyamory situation and BDSM. What could be better? Throw in aspects of a Knight in Shining armor who has a terrible secret and I’m hooked. What I think endures us probably to the characters in the stories are some flaw they have along with those hidden secrets. We all have lives that hide something or that we’re worried about and sometimes that can be based on certain biases we had to endure during our experiences with love, family, friends and our work relationships. Doesn’t that sound like a delicious read to you and do you see color in the aspect of the book? You shouldn’t, but that’s just my opinion.

I guess trying to figure out why is really not the question any longer. The truth is that the perception is there, whether we like it or not. I hate every aspect of the concept as I talk about and see love as love, but I guess we’ll always have narrow minded people in this world. I’ve actually been judged and had friends judged on this very concept and I’m not going to get on my soapbox other than to say, I think you really need to understand that if you believe in God, he did put us on this earth to love, not hate. At least that’s what my religious friends tell me anyway.

I had posed this kind of question on Facebook not too long ago and received some very interesting comments and then one poor girl private messaged me to say she received real CRAP from people who didn’t like her comments. Do you not have a hobby people or a job? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, just don’t try and stop me or shove your beliefs down my throat. I don’t personally take that very well.

I’m saddened because you continue to see things in the newspaper and on line about hate crimes – not just based on color of course but sexual preference and religious beliefs too and I for one stand back and go – WTF? What is freaking wrong with people? I have my views. Trust me. Because I’ve realized that there are so many people who continue to have issues with interracial romances, especially a black man and a white woman, I’ve actually thought about not penning them any longer. That’s another WTF moment for me. If I do that then the naysayers win and I hate winners who do based on sheer stupidity. I enjoy writing them and I enjoy reading them and I plan on continuing. What do you think? I would love to hear your viewpoint on this. Do you believe love is love no matter what color or do you think races should stay with their own – what I’ve heard coined later “kind”. God, that alone makes me shiver. I didn’t know we looked different inside. Let me know your thoughts… Decided to be just a bit BraZen this morning.

Shameless Plug :)

Hey gang! Welcome to another week! It is Tuesday one day closer to Friday!

Let me first of all welcome all our new followers! We are so glad you're here and we hope we can spread a little smile into your day.

Now for the reason we're here! My shameless plug...HA! I said Shameless and I'm writing a story called SHAMELESS - get it? get it? *hangs head* sorry, bad joke.

So a little while ago, Cassandre Dayne (link above) invited me into her series of stories for Hot Summer Nights.  At first I was terrified. I mean come on! I have to write with Cassandre Dayne who has books hitting bestselling charts all over the place.  So, I hit google, and I dug and dug until I found some obscure island that I liked the name of and Montserrat had a perfect place for some nice hot, love *says this in a deep, bass-ish, Barry White-esque voice*.

I wrote, deleted, re-wrote, deleted, freaked out and write "Cassandre Dayne I need you" ALOT on facebook and send her bits and pieces with "What do you think" written after them then I messaged my friends Havan and Jade and asks "What do you think?" and after freaking out I finished it. I freaked out a little more and sent it to Cassandre who eyed me with her Mistress eyes and shipped it off to our pubisher (Rebel Ink Press). Our beautiful CA made me a cover, it went through edits and finally it was released.

On Saturday I went home from work to a message on my wall from Cassandre basically saying "I TOLD YOU SO" Hot Summer Nights: Montserrat had apparently reached the #1 Drama spot on All Romance eBooks.....wait...*blinks* What???  And just in case I didn't believe her, she added the following picture.

After so many years of writing and getting stuff out there, I still flailed, and squealed, and ran around my room shouting "yes! YES! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!" Then I had to put on my new favorite song of the summer "Calabria" by Enur featuring Natasja. *smirks* What? It was cause for celebration! I am so happy.

You can find it at ARE or where you buy your Remmy yumminess. The story is a short, fun, sexy one. Here's a blurb:

Chance Snider is a volcanologist and he's bored with his job. To give it a shot in the arm, he decides to lead an expedition into the exclusion zone of Plymouth on the Caribbean island of Montserrat. To appease his sister's worry should the volcano erupt again, Chance decides to hire Scott LaFromboise, an ex-marine turned guide, into the Exclusion zone to watch his back. The thing is, everyone believes Scott LaFromboise is in love with Chance. Everyone sees it except Chance.

The last thing Scott wants to do is lead another expedition into the exclusion zone, but for some reason, he just can't say no to Chance Snider. He knows he has a thing for the brainy, chocolate Adonis, but he'll be damned if he'll admit it. To go three weeks without holding Chance down and taking the pleasure he knows Chance is hiding between those perfectly rounded cheeks--that's all he has to do. Go the length of the trip without falling deeper. Or getting his heart broken.

Have a lovely week!

Morning Wood

Happy Monday!

I now have the task of making your morning, week, day which ever bad one you're having. Anyways, today I'm here to talk to you about morning wood. You know, men waking up in the morning with a friendly little reminder that they are still men. Fine, I'll say it, a hard on. I see this in movies all the time and some guys I know complain about it too but is it real?

Well yes, woods are real but is the fact that they always wake up with one real?  Is it normal? Wait, I was watching this show called "STRANGE SEX" on TLC...yes they have a show called STRANGE SEX on TLC. I swear am not making this up! And there was this guy who says he can have multiple orgasms...I'm not talking about having one, then wait an hour and go again...am talking having one, then build up and go again and again and again and good l0rd I'm exhausted just thinking about it.  His poor wife have taken up to working out just so she can keep up with him and even then she's still contemplating giving up.  He said it was from years of being a virgin because he lost his virginity at 21 years old to his wife. Anyways, whole other topic that one. Back to Morning wood--I love saying Morning wood...lol.

What brought this up? (morning wood I mean)

So on Friday I was at school and the professor sent us on a break for ten minutes. Our classes are two and a half hours long so we get a short break in between.  I was sitting with a bunch of guys who found it utterly fascinating that I wrote erotica and had a whole slew of questions from where do I get my motivation to can they be my motivation. Of course there were a couple that I would let be whatever motivation they wanted and a couple who I would rather poke my eyes out with hot pokers first. But that's neither here nor there.

The conversation went to morning arousal.

One guy, a rather sexy Russian, asked if I ever gave my guys morning wood. At first I sat there, blinking at him thinking "huh?" I guess he saw my confusion then he said, and I quote "has any of your characters ever woke up in the morning and tackled the female?" I burst out laughing and said "oooOooo you mean a hard on in the morning!"

He blushed--so cute bee-tee-dub--and nodded.

That had me thinking. I don't think I've ever given my characters morning wood--as he so delicately put it--I think I did that once in Panty Droppers 2: Shakin' it for Daddy. But other than that I never really wrote it in--I guess it was never called for...how strange.... Anyways, I told him I would use him as my next hottie in my next story and he was very happy--said he wanted a copy of the book as soon as it is released.  I think I just may do that...write a story about him having morning wood *grins*

Hugs,
